Connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts during a hike with us! We'll explore the trails at Afton State Park and chat about BWAC, our mission, and all things Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
This is a 4- to 5-mile hike through woods and prairie and along a river. The trail is moderately hilly and mostly dirt, with some gravel and pavement to start and end.
Be sure to bring water and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
Plan to arrive a little early, as this park can get busy on weekends.
State park vehicle permit required ($7 day or $35 year); purchase online or at the ranger station at the park entrance.
While we love pets, we're not able to allow them for this event.
Alcohol is not allowed at this event.
No children under 14 please.
We look forward to connecting with you!
