DONATE

You can make a difference! BWAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving trails in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of the Superior National Forest. Every donation of time or money helps protect and maintain this incredible wilderness for future generations.

Volunteer

While volunteering on a trail clearing trip is a great way to directly support our mission, there are many other ways to get involved and help protect the Boundary Waters.

Donate

Your tax-deductible donation supports our mission by funding tools, training, volunteer recruitment, and advocacy—helping care for the many beautiful miles of trail in the BWCAW.

Did you know there are many ways to support the work of the Boundary Waters Advisory Committee—even if you can’t get out on the trail?

  • Make a Donation
You can support BWAC with a monetary donation directly to the club. BWAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible. Every dollar helps us train volunteers, purchase the equipment we need to maintain trails, and protect wilderness access.

  • Donate a Door Prize
Help us recognize and thank our volunteers by donating door prizes for meetings and events. It’s a great way to give back and show appreciation. Reach out to marketing@boundarywaterstrails.org

  • Volunteer Off the Trail
Not all volunteer work happens in the woods. From outreach and planning to administrative help, off-trail support is vital to our success.

  • Spread the Word
Share BWAC with friends, family, coworkers, and outdoor communities. Advocacy and awareness are powerful tools in protecting the Boundary Waters.

  • Share our posts on social media to help spread the word about volunteer opportunities, events, and the important work of BWAC. Every share helps connect more people to the trails and the mission.

No matter how you choose to help, your support makes a real impact. Thank you for being part of the BWAC community.
