Meet & Greet -Planning for the "Eagle Mountain day clearing trip"

This is intended as a "Meet & Greet" hike for the crew participating in the Eagle Mountain trail clearing trip on May 6th.

Details
Meet at the Hartley Nature Center parking lot
3001 Woodland Ave, Duluth, MN 55803 @ 1:00 PM
We’ll hike various trail loops for about 2 hours.

Itinerary
There will also be a mini presentation- “Hydration & Snacks” -learn and share what favorite drinks & snacks backpackers enjoy on the trail to keep them going!

What to bring
Wear hiking boots or trail shoes, layers depending on weather. Bring at least one liter of water (you'll need 2 or 3 for the trip) and snacks, along with rain gear and any additional gear you intend to carry on the trail clearing trip in your day pack.

Important Information
· Safety is our top priority! There will be a brief safety talk and we expect everyone to complete the hike with the group. If you need to be somewhere else, please choose another activity that coincides with your schedule.
· This hike is pet and tobacco products free.
