This is intended as a "Meet & Greet" hike for the crew participating in the Powwow trail clearing trip on Oct.15th.
If you are interested in joining us for this hike but are not joining the Oct. 15th crew, please see contact information below.

Details:
Meet at the Hartley Nature Center parking lot
3001 Woodland Ave, Duluth, MN 55803 @ 1:00 PM
We’ll hike various hiking loops for around 2 hours.
There will also be a presentation - ”Preparation for a Wilderness Day Hike” including how/where to start planning a trip, and knowledge sharing from experienced backpackers!

What to bring:
Wear hiking boots or trail shoes, layers depending on weather. Bring at least one liter of water (you'll need 2 or 3 for the trip) and snacks, along with rain gear and any additional gear you intend to carry on the trail clearing trip in your day pack. And don’t forget your phone and/or camera for taking pics of the fall colors in this beautiful forest.

Important Information:
· Safety is our top priority! There will be a brief safety talk and we expect everyone to complete the hike with the group. If you need to be somewhere else, please choose another activity that coincides with your schedule.
· This hike is pet and tobacco products free.
